Polgoon Rondo Red

Our 2020 vintage red wine is a single variety, light bodied red made from our rondo grapes grown here at Polgoon. It’s light and fruity with blackcurrant, redcurrant and plum followed by a smooth vanilla and spice finish. It’s wonderful when accompanied by Cornish charcuterie, pork dishes or cheese platters.

WINE MAKING

Our Rondo grapes are hand harvested then destemmed and pressed. The juice then goes through a cold maceration for at least a week before fermentation. The wine then goes through a malolatic fermentation. 11.5% Vol, 75cl, contains sulphites, vegan friendly.

Our orders are sent out in plain cardboard boxes with the bottles protected in a cardboard mesh system. This is very robust and ensures that there are no damages. If this case is being purchased as a gift you can enter the recipient’s address at the checkout and also a gift note. We handwrite the note onto an A6 postcard.
